Happy Birthday Harley!! WE LOVE YOU!!!
Harley's last day in the toddler program was yesterday. I am extremely sad! I REALLY felt comfortable with the teachers, the location, the program ... and Harley really progressed over the 5 months he was there! Looking back, I wish we would have sent him sooner but maybe he nor we were ready! I have to believe it all worked out as it should! Anyway, picking him to say good bye was hard (yes, I sat in the parking lot and cried for a few minutes .. Though that did not help much).
The county has decided to shut down this program as of June. Say a prayer for all the teachers, aids, helpers, etc ... They are a dedicated group that are truly heartbroken!
Harley's usual position when I would pick him up!! They tired him out with all the learning!
Harley's teachers! (oh, I am so sad) Thank you Paula, Kate and Sheryl!! You ladies are just terrific!
Harley loved the lunches that had mashed potatoes! He would eat and eat and eat them! I would tease the teachers that he felt like he weighed 10lbs more when I would pick him up!
For his last day, and in celebration of his 3rd birthday (which is Saturday), the children had a bubble party! What fun!
Good bye Achievement Center! As I said you each win the Starfish Award! :) You made a difference to Harley and us! Thank you!
Just wanted to share some pictures of the kids playing in the snow!
We love the snow!
No, Im not cold!!
Tell me - Should we start calling Hayden "Ralphie"? Between the hat and new glasses, I think we should!
No I do not have on my sister's pink boots since we could not find mine ANYWHERE!
It really doesnt look like that much snow from the picture but outside it did!
Nothing funner than trying to break up the frozen sandbox with a hammer!! (ps. I put an end to that right away)
I miss summer!
Since I lost my Dad. He died January 15, 2009. I miss him. I find that I do not think about it too often to avoid the hurt/sadness. Some days it seems like just yesterday he was here and other days, well, a lifetime has passed. I just thought I would share some pictures.

Harley at Buddy Walk 2011
Anyone who does not see the beauty in this picture, I sadly wonder what else they are missing out on in life!
Well, ok, he just LOOKS like he is. Hayden's hair was getting long and it was time for a haircut. My husband and I are REALLY going to cut corners and try to change our ways... so, a haircut from Dad is what Hayden received. What do you think?

Someone does NOT look happy!
I think Dad is thinking ... Why did you move Hayden?

One of my New Year's Goals was to start blogging daily. I really do have a lot to say and share! I have also seen on Facebook that many of my friends are doing the 365 picture blog - aka a picture a day for a year! What fun it will be to go back and review! Anyway, I am going to give it a shot (ok, at this point it will be 358 pictures, but that is ok!
Harley's teachers at his preschool snuck a Santa diaper in his backpack for him to wear for Christmas! Harley is always dressed for each holiday and they felt he absolutely needed a Santa diaper!
Do you think one day he will be angry I shared this picture?
Naaa, Harley loves his Mama!
Geeves
We had to say goodbye to our dog, Geeves, this past week. If you have a dog and/or have loved a dog you understand the pain. Honestly, I didn't think it would bother me as much as it does. I miss him! In his 13 years, he was a good friend to all of us. I hope he is running in doggy heaven and getting to eat as many treats as he wants each and every day! We love you Geeves and we will never forget you!
"To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did." When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence. "The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you."
